Living Foods Centre – Grand Opening

by

The UK’s first fully residential living foods centre will open on Saturday 7th November at Hinton House, Kings Worthy, near Winchester. The centre is housed in a 19th Century mansion and the event will be free admission. There will be lectures and raw food demonstrations taking place throughout the day. Wheatgrass, green juices & raw living lunch will also be available.

The event runs between 10.30am – 5pm or come along for the whole day. There’s no need to book, just turn up!

Directions to Hinton House: Take Junction 9 off the M3 and take the exit to the A34/A33. Stay in the right hand lane towards Basingstoke. Ignore the first turning on the left towards Kings Worthy, very shortly after this is a track on the left sign posted Hinton House Drive (if you reach Lovedon Lane on the left you have gone past the track already). Hinton House is the first building on the left hand side at the end of this track.

The centre is the brainchild of Rian from Health Etcetera, who was disheartened that people were not getting the raw food message. “Even those who listened and expressed an interest found it remote that they could embark on such a craze on their own. So I decided that the best and only way to really prove it was to demonstrate it by literally having people round so I could really help them.”

“I was fortunate enough to have the most amazing building at my disposal and it kind of followed to turn it into a raw residential centre. Then I looked around and I realised that 1) to my surprise, there isn’t anything like this in the UK, a place when one can turn up and experience a raw living food life style and 2) everything connected with this world is prohibited in price. That’s it! I will have a place where anyone can stay, get fed, get pampered and be taught at the same time.”

The centre will offer exercise, meditation, lectures, practical food demonstrations, manual activities, inner reflection, Reiki and possibly a colonic or a massage. The cost of a place at the centre during October & November will be £400 per week for a shared room.
